About Sifu Dan & Sifu Bran

Sifu (Coach) Dan Siswanto

Senior Head Instructor

Sifu (Coach) Dan Siswanto began his career in martial arts in his late teens, started with Shotokan Karate and eventually dove into the Chinese martial arts. He studied Modern Wushu from a colleague, Sifu Gordon Wong during the span of his college years in Waterloo. Shortly after, studied Southern Style Hung Gar Kung Fu and Seven Star Praying Mantis, under the tutelage of Sifu Richard Palmer in Kitchener for 3 years, until he eventually left for Vancouver, BC.

After 6 months to a year of hiatus from martial arts training, Dan had found Sifu Chuck O’Neill from an old friend and training partner. Seeing this as an opportunity to get back into one of his greatest passions in life, Dan was willing to explore Wing Chun and began his journey under Sifu Chuck’s system. With years of training and dedication for 8 1/2 years, Dan has become one of the first to be certified under Sifu Chuck’s system and continued training and teaching under Revolution Wing Chun organization.
